Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of twelve At-Large Members (who serve a three-year term with four members up for election each May), five Host Directors (two future hosts, the current host, and the immediate two past hosts), and a Board appointed Board Host Director. The At-Large positions are elected by the State Coordinators at the May State Coordinator’s Business Meeting. Terms for all Board Members expire at the conclusion of each May’s National Championship.

Suzanne has been involved in the mock trial community for over 12 years, coaching a junior high and high school team since 2014. In 2020, she adapted mock trial to an online format, hosting the first online mock trial tournament. In 2026, Suzanne coached
Brigham Young University’s inaugural mock trial team. She is a founding board member of an online charter school, Leadership Academy of Utah, where she served as vice chair. She has also served as a board member for the Wasatch Independent Debate
League, Adventure Learning, and the Wharton Kids Club.
